Radics and Curtiss-Wright Are Selected Suppliers for TerraPower’s Natrium Reactor Demonstration Project

RPC Radics LLC in partnership with Curtiss Wright Flow Control Service LLC has been selected one of the four suppliers for TerraPower's groundbreaking Natrium Reactor Demonstration Project. This prestigious project aims to advance the nuclear industry's innovation and contribute to the world's transition to clean energy. Radics and Curtiss Wright are going to jointly develop the Reactor Protection System (RPS) which will be based on the state-of-the-art digital RadICS platform and will demonstrate performance of the important safety functions in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

TerraPower Natrium Reactor Demonstration Project is set to be developed in Kemmerer, Wyoming. This project marks a significant step in bringing advanced reactor technology to the market, providing carbon-free, baseload energy to support clean targets and grid stability.

The Project is supposed to demonstrate that using a diverse supply chain accumulates best industrial practices and strengthens the ability to utilize innovative technologies for advanced reactors.

With expertise and dedication to cutting-edge solutions Radics is honored to be a part of this pivotal project, collaborating with Curtiss Wright and other key suppliers to implement TerraPower’s first-of-a-kind Natrium reactor.
