Radics partners with Radiy and Aden Group to modernize Reactor Protection Systems at Kozloduy NPP, Bulgaria

March 29, 2023 - Radics LLC has been selected to take part in a joint project together with Research & Production Corporation Radiy and Aden Group to modernize the Reactor Protection Systems (RPS) at Power Units 5 and 6 of Kozloduy NPP in Bulgaria. The project, which was awarded to a consortium RPC Radiy-Radics LLC-Aden Group, includes the design, manufacture, supply, and commissioning of a Reactor Trip System, Automatic Power Regulation System, and Automatic Discharge and Power Limitation System for VVER-1000.
Although this is Radics' first project with Kozloduy NPP, the company is well-known for its cutting-edge technology that supports safe and reliable production of carbon-free energy, helping to reach net-zero targets while protecting the environment.
